Fees & Policies Desert ADR recognizes that respecting user privacy over the Internet is of utmost importance. This privacy statement is designed to provide information about the privacy and data collection practices for the site: www.DesertADR.com. The site is operated by Desert ADR.

Privacy Policy: In general, you can visit the site without telling us who you are or providing any information about yourself.  We don’t ask people to register with us, nor do we schedule matters online.   If you have a question, or want to schedule a matter, simply call or e-mail us at the contact information provided by this website.  We normally set up matters through the attorneys, and they understand   the confidentiality and privacy associated with mediations and other ADR matters.   And, any information we receive from attorneys about their clients  is held strictly confidential, whether or not we are hired  to handle your matter.   We do not release any of this information to anyone unless authorized or requested  to do so by you or your attorney, or unless otherwise ordered to do so by a Court of Law.

Desert ADR does provide links to other sites. Other Internet sites and services have separate privacy and data collection practices. Once you leave www.DesertADR.com, Desert ADR cannot control, and has no responsibility for, the privacy policies or data collection activities at another site.

Custody and Return of Documents, Exhibits and Personal Property:  We will keep any information we receive from you until the matter we are handling for you is concluded.   We then keep the information in our files which are sealed and stored.   After one year, we may shred those files.  We keep any documents, briefs, exhibits, photos, etc. that are left with us after the matter is concluded,  for  60 days.  If the attorneys or their clients do not send a written request to us for the return of those items within 30 days after the matter is concluded,  we will discard or destroy those items 60 days after the matter is concluded.   Any personal property of obvious value (art work, jewelry, coins, etc.) will be returned to the attorney or clients who own them.  The parties and attorneys are primarily responsible for any valuable property or documents left with us, unless we are made aware of such value, and expressly take responsibility for them.
